Multiple injections will be required, followed by a cold compress to decrease inflammation. What Should I Expect after Restylane?
When your Restylane treatment is complete, you can return to work. Your recovery time will vary depending on what is being treated, so ask your injector what you should expect. The injection areas may appear slightly red and swollen, but this usually fades away after several hours. Bruising may occur, but this can usually be concealed with cosmetics. It is recommended that you avoid strenuous activity for 1 – 2 days, and you should sleep upright for at least the first night. Most patients will see some improvements immediately after the procedure, but it often takes 1 – 2 weeks until the final results develop. My issue has resolved as she predicted. Her Medical Assistant was also very friendly, and awesome at her job. She’s a fully licensed Nurse (RN) which is way more qualified than most doctor’s staff.
